Legal
Privacy.
This notice explains what personal data goodfuture.at collects, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.
Who is responsible
Good Future — an initiative in formation, Vienna, Austria. Contact: t-x@goodfuture.at. Because the association is not yet registered, the responsible parties are currently the founding individuals of the initiative.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting produces technical access logs (IP address, time, requested resource, browser/user agent). These are used to operate and secure the site.
- Account and membership data. If you create an account or join the founding community, we store the data you enter — at minimum an email address and a display name. Legal basis: performance of the membership relationship and your consent.
- Email correspondence. If you write to us, we keep your message in order to answer it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not run advertising trackers or advertising profiling on this site.
- We do not make public any social account, profile or contribution metric without your explicit opt-in.
- We collect the minimum member data needed. Privacy is not a condition of belonging.
Cookies
WordPress sets functional cookies when you log in or comment. These are necessary for the site to work and are not used for advertising.
Processors
The site runs on WordPress and is operated on infrastructure managed on our behalf.
Payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland. You enter your card details on Stripe’s own payment form; the card number never reaches goodfuture.at and we never see or store it. Stripe receives the amount, your email address and technical data needed to detect fraud, and acts as an independent controller for that. Its notice is at stripe.com/privacy.
Who holds the payment record. Until the Good Future association is registered, membership payments are collected by GoodVibes — Essen, Kleidung und niederschwellige Hilfe in Wien für Menschen in Notlagen (ZVR 1741769261, Spittelauer Lände 12/Bogen 335A, 1090 Vienna) as merchant of record. It is the controller for the payment and accounting record, including the retention periods Austrian bookkeeping law imposes on it. Everything else on this page — your account, your contributions, your correspondence — stays with the Good Future initiative. The arrangement is set out in our terms of membership.
Email. Mail from this site is sent through a mail relay operated within the same infrastructure and, for the same reason as above, currently leaves from the GoodVibes Foundation address with Good Future as the reply address.
Retention
We keep account and membership data for as long as the membership relationship exists and thereafter only as long as legally required. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. To exercise any of these, write to t-x@goodfuture.at. You also have the right to complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
